The FIRJAN System represents industrial sectors in Rio de Janeiro, regionally and nationally, unifying the interests of affiliated Business Associations. The System acts as a service provider to companies, creating debate forums and organizing and managing information to foster the economic and social growth of the state.

FIRJAN technical and political actions are guided by Councils and Business Forums.

Business Councils focus on strategic themes for the development of the state. Business Forums work at stimulating growth in specific sectors and for the reduction of fiscal, legislative and bureaucratic barriers.

The mobilization and synergy created through dialogue with companies, governmental organs and institutions in various segments facilitate the development of specific regional projects.

Regional Representations: strategic actions in the state

FIRJAN Regional Representations guarantee access to information and help to integrate companies throughout the state to participate in projects developed by FIRJAN. They also centralize demands identified among local industries and work as a starting point for actions adopted by the business sector in Rio de Janeiro.

Corporate Social Responsibility

FIRJAN, through its Social Responsibility Advisory group, supports various social policies launched by public authorities. These partnerships result in the valorization of citizenship and directly benefit hundreds of families throughout the state.
